Mukesh Patel is Managing Partner and Founder of Invati Capital. Previously, Mr. Patel was Investor, President and CEO of Metta Technology. Metta grew to 75 engineers and was acquired by LSI Logic in 2006. Prior to this, Mr. Patel was an Investor and CEO of Sparkolor Corporation, until it's acquisition by Intel in 2002. Additionally, Mr. Patel co-founded Smart Modular Technologies in 1989. At Smart Modular, Mr. Patel served in various leadership roles including Operations, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and as Vice President and General Manager of the Memory Products Division. Other leadership roles held by Mr. Patel have been at such companies as Seeq Technology, Advanced Micro Devices, and Samsung Semiconductor. Currently, Mr. Patel sits on the Board of Directors of publicly traded companies - Smart Modular Technologies and AEHR Test Systems.
Since 2003 Mr. Patel was involved as a Private Equity investor in NPTest and the buy back of Smart Modular Technologies. Mr. Patel holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bombay University, India.
